Building a stronger immune system with healthier food

Why is building a stronger immune system with healthier food is not hard work?

Preparing a healthy meal is faster than you think and building a stronger immune system on a daily basis is necessary. We are usually turning to supplementation thinking that it is the fastest and the most effective way to do it. But the first and most important thing we can do is – watch what we eat.

Preparing healthy meals seems like hard work but if we look closely, most of them take 10 to 45 min for preparation.

Maybe this is the moment in which we are forced to slow down, pay attention to building a stronger immune system that we need in day-to-day fight against viruses, stress, and negativity around us. Hummus can help us with that.

Hummus is amazing for people that have been diagnosed with anaemia, because one cup of chickpeas – the main hummus ingredient, contains 60% of daily iron needs. It is a complex carbohydrate, does not contain gluten and is a great source of proteins rich with amino acids. It also contains vitamins A, C, and B6, as well as potassium and magnesium.

By adding fresh or cooked beetroot to that, you get a perfectly healthy meal along with whole-grain bread. Beetroot is a medical herb with numerous vitamins and minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, copper, iodine and many others.

Building a stronger immune system with whole grain bread

Why whole grain bread? Because whole grain cereals keep us feeling fuller longer due to having a lot of fibre, that supports digestion and doesn’t lead to a sudden rise of glucose

Recipe for whole grain bread:

500gr of mixed buckwheat, spelt, and rye flour

4dcl of hot water

1 baking powder

1 teaspoon of salt

2 tablespoons of olive oil

Sesame seeds, ticks, cumin, sunflower seeds

Mix all dry ingredients and knead the dough with water. Cover the kneaded dough with plastic wrap, let it rest for a few hours and then bake it at 200 degrees Celsius for about 45 minutes. Add Ribella Hummus Natural to your beetroot and whole-grain bread combination and you’ll get an entire meal or snack. This is the way to get a quality meal that helps you with better functioning and healthier daily routine.
