The Unforgettable Hummus Crepes

Hanging out with your loved ones is the best way to spend your free time, especially on the weekend. You can plan all sorts of activities – from things that require a lot of energy and skill to not so challenging ones that will still feel good and charge your batteries. Whatever you choose – the time to grab a bite is inevitable. There’s nothing better than a meal that everyone loves, and that’s even more delicious when shared, especially when talking about hummus.


In fact, this is a perfect occasion to prepare a quick, healthy snack that everyone will enjoy, and the star of our recipe is crepes. When it comes to healthy fillings, we strongly recommend using hummus.


We have prepared a recipe that will blow your friends away because it has a secret ingredient. 😉 Can you guess what it is? The fantastic Ribella Hummus Shiitake, of course. Let’s jump straight into how to prepare this delicious meal!


  • Buckwheat flour — 250 grams
  • Rye flour — 50 grams
  • 1 egg
  • Salt — 1 pinch
  • Vegetable oil — 3 tablespoons
  • Baking powder — ½ tablespoon
  • Sparkling water — 300 ml
  • Ribella Hummus Shiitake
  • Any other vegetable topping you like


In a medium bowl, mix the egg, both flour types, salt, and vegetable oil with a fork. Slowly add sparkling water while mixing. Let the mixture rest for 30 minutes. Use regular water to thin out your mixture, but make sure it’s not too runny. Heat the pan with a bit of oil and use a ladle to pour your mixture in. Bake on both sides for a bit longer than regular crepes. Fill your crepes with Ribella Hummus Shiitake and finely chopped veggies of your choice or just stick to the hummus.
