Focaccia is a type of Italian round bread with a great taste, and this recipe has our little twist… Let’s try to make it together!

Ingredients:

  • 250 g of bread flour
  • 150 ml of water

– ½ teaspoon of salt

– 1 teaspoon of sugar

– 1 tablespoon of olive oil

  • 5 g of dry yeast

Spread:

  • 1 pack of Ribella Hummus Italiano
  • 200 g of cherry tomatoes

Measure the dry yeast, add some sugar to it and cover with lukewarm water. Leave for 10 minutes until the yeast starts foaming. Then add flour, salt and olive oil. Knead the dough with a mixing spoon or a mixer for 10 minutes, until it becomes elastic. Cover the kneaded dough with cling film and leave it to rise in a warm place.

Turn on the oven to heat to 200C. Line a large baking tray with baking paper. Put the dough onto the baking tray and then gently spread it with your fingers to cover most of the baking tray. Spread Ribella hummus on the dough, and spread the sliced cherry tomatoes on top of the hummus.

Bake in a preheated oven for approximately 30 minutes until the surface is browned.

Remove from the oven, leave to cool slightly and then serve.
