Most people like pasta, but have you tried it with hummus?
Here is another quick twenty-minute recipe you must try.
Ingredients:
– 2 tablespoons of olive oil
– 1 medium-sized onion
– 2 cloves of garlic
– 1 cup of spinach
– 1 cup of Hummus, any taste
– 1 pack of spaghetti
– juice from half a lemon
– half a cup of chopped basil
– a pinch of dried pepper to taste
Preparation:
Cook the spaghetti in salted water according to the instructions on the package and have them “al dente”, as experts say. 😉 Make sure to save a cup of water in which you cooked the pasta, because you will need it later. Heat olive oil in a frying pan on medium heat, then add onions and simmer until they become soft and release the aroma. Then, add spinach and cook on low heat until it slightly wilts. Now add a cup of Ribella Hummus into the frying pan and half a cup of water in which you cooked the pasta and lemon juice, and stir until a creamy sauce is made. For a thinner sauce, add more water in which the pasta was cooked.
Put the spaghetti into the frying pan, turn off the stove burner and mix everything well. Add basil, pepper and serve right away… With a little bit of parmesan and parsley, to your taste. ENJOY YOUR MEAL!
